In addition, bolt-in chain shields are standard to prevent material from building up in the drag chain slowing you down. A feed gate has accurate adjustments and is operated by a lever with a friction lock. Also, the extra wide rear deflectors protects the rear of the vehicle and the undercarriage. Offered as an option, our inverted-V helps prevent material from bridging and slowing down the conveyor.

A 5.5 HP Honda Engine for maximum power operates this gas driven salt and sand spreader. The hopper made of stainless steel and a conveyer chain that can handle up to 11,000 lbs. A feed gate has accurate adjustments and is operated by a lever with a friction lock. Also, the extra wide rear deflectors protects the rear of the vehicle and the undercarriage.
- Hopper and Foundation: Made of 304 stainless steel and welded to form sloped sides at 40° this hopper adds vertical support and extra strength to the unit.
- Conveyor: The chain strength in the conveyor is 11,000 lbs. The conveyer gear case is made of durable cast iron and the gear is made of aluminum bronze.
- Feed Gate: Accurate adjustment is offered with the lever operated feed gate with a friction lock.
- Extra Wide Adjustable Deflectors: Complete control is offered with the adjustable deflector that can spread on a width of 2 to 30 ft. Protect the rear and under carriage of the vehicle with the extra wide rear deflector.
- Gas Hydraulic Engine: Equipped with a gasoline powered 5.5 HP Honda Engine. A 12V electric starter and in-cab start/stop is also added. A hinged hood protects the entire engine.
